Does FieldKit have any lithium batteries or anything else that would restrict air shipping?
A FieldKit station does come with Lithium ion batteries - so yes, there are air restrictions. Every country has different regulations and clearance information. If push comes to shove, a battery can be purchased in your country of origin to power the system. FieldKit uses a 3-cell pack of 2000 mAh 18650 Li-polymer batteries with internal protection circuitry. The pack is wired as 3S, 1C, giving it a capacity of 6000 mAh at a nominal pack voltage of 3.7 VDC.
